Celebrate International Women’s Day with Smart Works Greater Manchester as we explore this year’s powerful theme, Give to Gain. Join us for an inspiring panel discussion on the impact of generosity, collaboration and support in driving personal and professional success.
Our panel brings together an exceptional group of women:
Emma Neville
Emma Neville is a mum to two teenage girls, a person-centred counsellor, a philanthropist who volunteers for numerous charities and a qualified menopause coach. Emma experienced an early menopause aged 40 after being diagnosed with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). The average age of menopause in the UK is 51.
Receiving this diagnosis encouraged Emma to research the topic to gain an understanding of the phases of menopause. Emma then studied to become a menopause coach. Emma started an online community 'This is Me’ to share her story and to encourage everyone to talk about menopause to change the rhetoric!
Jane Shepherdson
Jane Shepherdson is a leading figure in fashion retail, having been CEO of Whistles and before that Brand Director at Topshop. She is also Creative Advisor to Oxfam and a patron of the Almeida Theatre in North London.
She was awarded a CBE in 2006 for services to fashion retail. Jane is proud to be a regular dressing volunteer in North London and is passionate about Smart Works.
Victoria Price
Victoria Price is the Founder and Co-CEO of Emello, a British luxury womenswear brand. After two decades leading global businesses in the professional services world, Victoria stepped away from the boardroom with a clear vision: to create clothing that truly supports the modern woman.
Prior to founding Emello, Victoria led EY’s EMEIA Private Capital Tax business for the Consumer Products and Retail Sector, overseeing more than 1,800 professionals before moving to Alvarez & Marsal to build their UK Private Capital team.
A passionate believer in purpose beyond profit, Victoria dedicates her time outside of work to philanthropic initiatives. From trekking across the Sahara to summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, she has raised significant funds for youth development and mental health charities -causes that reflect her commitment to empowering the next generation of women.
