On Thursday, we were proud to host our Past, Present & Future event, kindly hosted by Treehouse Hotels Manchester for an evening that truly captured the spirit, growth, and impact of our community. It was a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate where we are today, and look ahead to the future we are building together. Most importantly, it was a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact Smart Works Greater Manchester continues to have for women across our region.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible speakers Bev Craig, Hayley Roberts, Darryl Cooke&Atika Abbass - our inspiring client champion, (with panel lead by our Trustee Helen Rendle) for sharing their stories, insights, and passion. Your words reflected the resilience, ambition, and community spirit that make Greater Manchester such a special place, and were a powerful reminder of what can be achieved here.

We are also so grateful to our generous raffle prize donors, whose support added an extra layer of excitement and helped raise vital funds to continue our work, thank you to - ITC travel group, AO, San Carlo Restaurant Group, 20 Stories, Stockport Gin, Renovo Dental

‍The evening also gave us a special opportunity to recognise and thank Jan Iceton, Alison Lever, and Sarah Bateman as they step down from their roles as trustees after more than seven years of dedication. Their commitment, leadership, and belief in our mission have played a significant role in shaping the charity we are today. Their impact will be felt for years to come - keep your eyes peeled for a special thank you post to them very soon 💙
