You're invited - Intl. Day of the Girl

Please join Smart Works Greater Manchester to celebrate International Day of the Girl on Tuesday 7th October, where we will be talking about the critical need to do more to support our young women into work. Young women aged 16-25 represent the biggest proportion of the 35,000 "unemployed and looking for work" population in Greater Manchester. There is huge untapped potential and our panel can help you unlock it.

An opportunity to network through breakfast and listen to our panel discussing the realities of life as an unemployed young woman, how you and your organisation can make employment more accessible and attractive to the next generation, and how Smart Works are funded to reach those in areas of social and economic deprivation.

This event is kindly hosted by Eversheds Sutherland at their office at Two New Bailey Square, 6 Stanley Street. We are delighted that Anna Hemmings - CEO of Smart Works nationally, will share her knowledge together with Natasha Gada - Young Women and Social Mobility Trustee, Kate Thomas - Employer Engagement Manager at EY Foundation, Eversheds Sutherlands Associate, and Caroline Roberts-Cherry - Chair of The Pankhurst and Manchester Women's Aid.

Tickets available to buy here!
