Last year we received funding from the European Social Fund to help more unemployed 16-25 year olds into employment. This has now come to an end and we would like to thank ESF and WEA for their support throughout, with the Moving on Grant.
Despite all the challenges of restrictions and working mostly remotely, our programme successfully enrolled 20 unemployed young women, with every single one reporting an increase in their confidence and 10 went on to successfully get a job.
The grant has better enabled us to connect with referral partners throughout Greater Manchester who work with younger women, who we will now continue to work closely with, successfully supporting women into employment.
