How to make an appointment
The Smart Works Career Coaching service is for unemployed women who are at the beginning of their job journey. This service helps women feel positive about their next steps, prior to securing an interview and can complement other employment support they may be receiving.
The Smart Works Interview Styling and Coaching service is open to any unemployed woman who has a confirmed job interview.
Our appointments can be delivered in-person at our either one of our centres, Stockport or Manchester City. Appointments can also be delivered virtually.
All appointments are made by referral, from another organisation or charity who is supporting a women on her on the journey to employment.
Bookings are taken online, via email, or over the phone, and only takes a couple of minutes.

To make a referral for an appointment, please fill out this form, call us on 0161 974 0669 or send an email to greatermanchester@smartworks.org.uk. Simply provide us with a few details about your client including:
- Name/phone number/email
- Appointment type (career coaching/interview prep and clothing)
- Postcode and preferred centre (Stockport or Manchester)
- Interview date/role & company
and we’ll take care of the rest.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5pm and we welcome clients every weekday and virtually.
We usually require at least a day’s notice to book an appointment but we will be as flexible as we can. If in doubt, please get in touch and we will always do what we can to take your booking.

Smart Works has over 150 referral partners in Greater Manchester, including Job Centre Plus, The Prince’s Trust, Mencap (learning disabilities) Drive Forward Foundation (care leavers), IntoUniversity (young people) and the House of St Barnabas (homeless charity).
