To celebrate our first year of opening in Greater Manchester we held a 1st birthday party so that we could thank everyone who has helped us during our first year.
The event took place on Friday 10th June 2016 and we were thrilled with the turn out and support.

The PwC held an impressive event at Quill Restaurant in Manchester City Centre for their Women’s Network. Smart Works Greater Manchester was invited as a guest speaker for the event and we raised significant amount of financial and clothing donations.
Thank you to the WOW Network at WorldPay for holding a Style Event at their offices in central Manchester, where there was a number of stands occupied by retailers and hospitality restaurants. The event raised an impressive £500 for our charity, alongside a generous number of clothing and accessories donations.
Sara Porter Photography and Harry Jon Hair & MUA kindly donated their time in holding a make-over day for 8 of our clients. This gave our clients the opportunity to celebrate their success of securing employment with a hair and make-up make-over and photography shoot. Our clients commented on how wonderful the experience was and they gave special thanks to the team for making them feel special.
After a successful six months of operation, we held a Launch Party at Hobbs in Manchester to celebrate our achievements to date. Hobbs kindly hosted the event in collaboration with Grill on the Alley, who supplied the food and drink. We invited a number of our supporters and strategic partners. The event was a huge success and we were overwhelmed with the generosity of our supporters.
